Welcome to the home of Castrillo’s Lab!

Our lab is currently focused on the investigation of plant nutrition, its regulation and function under the influence of the plant microbiota.

We are located in the Plant Sciences building at the Sutton Bonington campus, University of Nottingham.

The department of Plant Sciences is part of the School of Biosciences which includes > 30 research groups with > 200 research staff and students spanning the Division of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences and Division of Plant & Crop Sciences. These include internationally recognised Nottingham centres such as NASC and the Wheat Research Centre, in addition to experimental platforms such as the Hounsfield Facility.
