Welcome to the home of Castrillo’s Lab!

Our lab is currently focused on the investigation of plant-microbe interactions, their regulation and function in the context of plant nutrition and development.

We are located in the Plant Sciences building at the Sutton Bonington campus, University of Nottingham.

The department of Plant Sciences is part of the School of Biosciences which includes > 30 research groups with > 200 research staff and students spanning the Division of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences and Division of Plant & Crop Sciences. These include internationally recognised Nottingham centres such as NASC and the Wheat Research Centre, in addition to experimental platforms such as the Hounsfield Facility.
